Fallout 3 suffered from the same problem, yet still had more to listen to.At times I’ll just turn the radio off in favor of the ambient soundtrack in the background. Worse yet is when I play for several hours I find myself switching stations often due to repetition. Even in an hour players could hear repeating dialog or songs. The problem is the relatively small amount of content.

I even like the country music selections. The hosts are entertaining including Tabitha. I enjoy the music from the respective stations in New Vegas. Even at level 29 I’m still hesitant to visit areas they might inhabit. The only real defense is to run or pick them off as they demolish my companion. These bugs are like Deathclaws with wings. I’d say most of my deaths occurred from stings to the head as I was swarmed by groups of 3 or more. They are also incredibly strong making most weapons feel useless.

These flying jerks are a huge pain no matter what kind of armor my character wears. I still believe that Fallout: New Vegas is an awesome game… it just has a few little hang-ups. Don’t get me wrong: I’m not going to stop playing anytime soon. Especially with the Dead Money DLC coming next month I’ll be scavenging for things to make my journey easier. Though in my journeys across the Mojave Wasteland I’ve noticed a few things that could use some improvement.
